The Cornish Rex originated in Cornwall, England in 1950. Cornish Rex are one of the friendliest cats you will ever see. They are very social and will often meet you at the door. They are people lovers and get along well with children and other animals. Cornish Rex are very intelligent and have high energy levels. They will remain active most of their adult life. The Cornish breed is easy to maintain requiring little grooming.
Cornish Rex's have recieved alot of attention for being hypoallergenic. Sadly no cat is truly hypoallergenic. Many people have found Cornish Rex to be the solution to their cat allergy problem.
